In Level Five, students learn the new and essential technique of free strokes in the fingers, and begin to combine this stroke with the thumb to create increasingly complex and enjoyable music. This level begins with a series of etudes that get students comfortable with repeating arpeggio patterns and ends with a classic Spanish MalagueƱa to combine free strokes and rest strokes in the same music.
